Lapidary Workshop

Bead Boys is proud to announce the opening of its lapidary workshop, one of the largest and most comprehensive of its type in Texas. The opening coincides with Bead Boys expansion to new quarters at 2855 Thousand Oaks in The Plaza Shopping Center.

The lapidary shop will have available a 6 inch, 8 inch saws, and a 20-inch saw for use with larger rocks. Diamond cabbing machines, sanding machines, and finer cutting tools will be available. Bead Boys will offer lapidary training classes that will entitle and empower students to rent lapidary studio time to work on their individual projects. 

Lapidary classes cost $150, are limited to three students, and have been scheduled for:

So customers may gather their own semi-precious rocks to use in the lapidary workshop, Bead Boys will sponsor its second rock trip on November 22. The trip will cost $40 and is limited to 20 students. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the mine.  Call to reserve your spot!
